Yet, over time, this fades, requiring minimal upkeep. There are two types of cleaning to keep your tiles polished.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, remove stains by way of poultice. We cover that in steps 1-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, remove etch marks through polishing. We cover that in steps 7 &#8211; 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ammonia&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hydrogen Peroxide&nbsp;<\/li><li>Baking Soda&nbsp;<\/li><li>A Cup&nbsp;<\/li><li>A Paintbrush (Large)<\/li><li>Plastic Wrap<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Water&nbsp;<\/li><li>Marble Polishing Powder&nbsp;<\/li><li>Clean, damp rag&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"schema-how-to wp-block-yoast-how-to-block\"><p class=\"schema-how-to-description\">The Steps:<\/p> <ol class=\"schema-how-to-steps\"><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136315573\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Make the Poultice<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Make the poultice. Mix together baking soda and water in a glass cup or bowl. Add in the hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. Allow it to form a thick consistency. Make a larger amount for areas like floors with more stains.\u00a0<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136335152\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Soap and Water<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Clean the stains first with soap and water. Dry, and then apply a light layer of water to the areas.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136345968\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Poultice<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Apply the poultice.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136357688\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Cover<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Cover the area with plastic wrap.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136365729\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Allow to Sit<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Allow to sit for about 2 days, until it\u2019s hardened.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136379426\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Clean and Dry<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Remove the wrapping, dampen with water, clean the surface, and dry<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136394393\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Move onto polishing<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">As all steps, clean the area thoroughly first.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136439500\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Wipe<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Then, wipe the etched area with your damp rag.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136447642\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Sprinkle<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Sprinkle some of the marble polishing powder on top.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136454155\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Buff<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Follow the marble polishing powder instructions for buffing.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1655136461623\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Shine<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Once done, dry and reveal the shine.<\/p> <\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s all for today.
