Q: Will this ceramic tile crack in the winter on an outdoor kitchen wall?
A: I used it on an outside wall in a a coastal NJ house. We are not there most of the winter so we keep the heat on very low and It has held up great!A: Our Cyprus 4x32 Matte Ceramic Wood Look Wall Tile is not suitable for outdoor applications. -

Q: Are these tiles fire resistant and how thick are these tiles?
A: I was told they are not fire resistant. They are close to 5/16” thick. They are really beautiful and everyone makes nice comments about them. I love the uniqueness of them.A: Our Cyprus 4x32 Matte Ceramic Wood Look Wall Tile is not heat resistant and has a thickness of about 9mm. -
Q: Can these tiles be used as flooring?
A: I wouldn't. Too soft. I have mine in my shower and I love it. It is starting to peal slightly on certain color sections. After 5 yearsA: I don’t think so, but I am no expert. They are beautiful, but I don’t think they would withstand foot traffic.A: I wouldn’t use that tile on the floor because it's too soft. -
Q: How well does this hold up as a backsplash behind a stove? I'm concerned about the grease and cleaning it easily.
A: This tile has held up well. We have installed it in our master shower and our kitchen backsplash and love it! Easy to clean.A: It holds up great.. I still love it just as much today as the day I had it installed. It is very easy to clean.. very durable! I get lots of compliments!A: It holds up very well, super easy to wipe down. I love it!!! -
Q: Is this tile ok to use on bathroom floor?
A: No, this is a wall tile ONLY.A: I don't recommend, it's mainly for kitchen backsplash.A: I would think so, like any other ceramic tile.A: I would not recommend this tile for the floor.A: Yes! I used this for my basement inlaw apartment bathroom floor and the kitchen backsplash to tie it all in. It's beautiful and durable!!A: I don’t see why not. It’s ceramic tile. I used it as my kitchen backsplash. You should probably check with your contractor and call Tilebar to confirm though.A: We used the tile on the bathroom wall as an accent but there was nothing preventing us from using on the floor. The color and look of paint peeling has not changed through our cleaning. -
Q: Is there a bullnose for this tile?

Alternatively, you can line the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: Tiles I purchased do NOT have a bull-nosed edge. -
Q: I'm interested in using this as a backsplash behind my stove- would it look OK in a herringbone pattern if cut in half or are the colors too varried?
A: I used this as a backsplash in my kitchen! It looks amazing but the tiles are much to big for a herringbone pattern.A: Just installed these on a bath accent wall. the tiles are fairly wide so it would need a large space use in a herringbone pattern. I don't think the colors are too varied.A: The pieces are 32 inches, so even cut in half they would be 16 inches long. Unless you have a big space behind your stove, I'd think the tiles are too big. The images on the site are a great representation of the actual product.We did our fireplace floor to ceiling and it looks great!A: This tile would not be good in any pattern in a small area like a backsplash. There are to many color variations. It requires a large area to get the full effect. I hope this helps.
