Q: Is this tile ok to use for a fireplace surround?
A: Yes, our Santa Monica White 4x12 Bullnose is appropriate for fireplace surroundings. -
Q: Is the Santa Monica 4 x 12 bullnose finished on 2 sides (a 4" and a 12") or only one 12" side?
A: This is only finished on the 12" side.A: Only bulldoze is on one of the 12" sides -
Q: Do you have a four inch bullnose?
A: We do not sell a 4" bullnose. -
Q: Is his suitable for shower walls?
A: I don’t see why not. It’s a fancier subway tile, the slight ripple is beautiful. I used it as a kitchen backsplash, but I think it would look just as beautiful in the shower.A: Yes, I just purchased this to tile my shower walls.A: I hope so, as that is where we intend to use them! Not installed as yet...A: The bullnose is needed for edging. Santa Monica is beautiful in a shower. That is what we used it for.A: yes, it is. We used this tile in on our shower walls...have been using it for the past 6 months and it looks fabulous.A: I used this for my shower walls and it has been great! I love it!A: Yes - we have this tile in our showerA: Obviously! It all depend on the grout. Spend money to buy the best: MAPEI !A: Yes definitely. The bullnose is for the edges.A: Yes but I would not use for flooring.A: This product is perfectly suitable for shower walls, but is a bit porous and should be sealed. -
Q: We ordered some white Blanco and 3d Blanco subway tile for vanity walls and shower. Will this work for the edges? Same color
A: I honestly do NOT think so...They are two completely styles of tile. Santa Monica (used to be called Bulevard) is definitely a rustic/country tile while I see that Blanco 3d is an extremely modern design.A: This bullnose was made specifically for the Santa Monica series. If attempting to use with another series, I would highly recommend ordering a sample to be sure that the two will be a match. -
Q: Is the beveling along the long edge, short edge or both?
A: The bullnose is on the 12" side.A: The bevel is along one long side. -
Q: If I need 50 linear feet of tile how much is that?
A: The tile is a foot long, so you'll need 50 tiles. You might want to order 10% more in order to account for wastage. -
Q: How many are in a box? Is it safe to assume it is the same as the Bulevar white 4x12 tiles, as far as pricing structure and quatities?
A: Yes: the same measurement criteria applies. I still wonder why Tile Bar had to change the name from Bulevar to Santa Monica... just made everything more confusing. Bah...A: The product is sold by the piece. There are 10.76 sqft in a box. Each tile covers about .33 sqft. Every product on our website is priced and sold independently of others.

Bison Beach Bistro comes to life with The Tile Bar.
Riviera Blue Agate and Santa Monica Ivory and Gray share the stage in our kitchen, butlers pantry and laundry room. Each plays a stellar role!

Beautiful, simple and classic.
Beautiful, high quality tile. It's a versatile white that seems to coordinate well with everything. I used it for both the primary and guest bathrooms. In the primary shower it's paired with Nature Tumbled Pebble Lava Black and Azure Mist granite.
