Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Stone Products
As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.

Q: Can I use it for a fireplace?
A: Our Alaska White 1x3" Herringbone Polished Marble Mosaic Tile is not appropriate for this appication. -
Q: Using the Alaska White Herringbone 1x3 tile for a backsplash, what size and color edging would work best? Please be specific.
A: Hi Dina, the tile is 10mm thick, so anything you use for edging will need to be 10mm or 1-2mm larger. In terms of color, it does require a little bit of a stylish eye. We usually recommend a metal trim piece that matches the finishes of the fixtures to tie the look together. -
Q: where is this tile manufactured?
A: This materials origin is China. -
Q: how do you clean this marble?
A: For normal care and maintenance of stone tiles, clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap, or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean soft cloth for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar, or other acids on marble or limestone. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaners. -
Q: When using Alaskan White polished marble as a backsplash what product do you recommend to finish am exposed outer edge ?

Alternatively, you can line the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: Schluter Jolly edging looks nice and polished. You could do white or a metal finish that matches your fixtures.
