Q: Can this be installed in a steam
Shower?A: There is no problem as long as the installation joints are respected and the waterproof sealant gasket is used because the material is porous and if water enters through the joints there can be problems. -
Q: Would this work for bathroom floor or shower floor? I see it says wall only so I wanted to clarify
A: Hi. These are beautiful tiles and I'm complimented all the time. However, I would not use this for a floor given that the tile surface is not smooth, it's textured. I don't think it would be comfortable to walk on.A: Absolutely not. Only use porcelain tile on floor for best results.A: Hello, I actually installed this on shower walls. It would not be a good idea to install it on a shower floor or bathroom floor. It would be too slippery and shower floors have a preslope to the drain and it wouldn’t be able to slope to the drain. Tile is also rated for certain applications and when it’s rated for walls you should not use it on a floor. Hope this helps.A: I would not. They are uneven.A: I don't think so. It doesn't seem durable enough for walking on...

Happy!
It looks a bit more tan in person than on the website but I'm still happy with the rustic look it creates.

DIY success
Loved the texture of these tiles. More a flat feel and color and softens the countertop shine.

Gorgeous tile!
This tile is so rich in color and beautifully organic in shape. The guest bathroom was remodeled after removing the house's original sink and vanity (1984). Looking for other projects to use this tile it!

Will purchase again!
Beautiful tile. We are using this in an outdoor shower and it will be perfect. I would recommend if you want a great white subway tile with a little movement in the clay.

Timeliness
Tile is fine, ordered twice from tile bar and once shipping was quick, the other time it was sent by mule and took 4 weeks?

Lovely tile, but lots of hidden breakage
This tile is quite lovely, and there are a lot of different patterns, and I'm looking forward to the finished project. Unfortunately, we did not unbox everything right away, as we weren't ready for installation but set it carefully aside. We noted one broken tile on the top of one box, but that was it. When I was ready to start installation, I unboxed and laid out the all the tiles, grouped by pattern. I ended up with the equivalent of one entire box of broken tiles, plus maybe 3 additional broken tiles. Although the shipment was well-packed with foam padding, and the shipping carton was undamaged, I suspect that the breakage occurred prior to shipment. I'm chalking this up to experience, as it is now too late to get a credit for the breakage (it is long past the 5-day window). While I will be able to use some of the broken pieces for smaller areas, it's just frustrating to find that more than 10% of the order is already broken, and I may have to order one more box to finish the project. My advice - immediately unbox all tiles you receive, even if you are not ready to use them, and check each tile for damage.
