Q: What sealer is recommended for this tile?
A: Keeping an installation looking new is not as difficult as you may think. Regular cleaning of the area with a neutral PH non-acidic cleaner should do the job. There are harsher cleaners available in case of an accident, but they must be used carefully by following all instructions. Always test a non-visible area before using a product on the whole space. Use a sealer on the grout to protect it from dirt and
stains.A: Hi! Since this is a porcelain tile, it's pre-finished and does not require a sealer. It's been installed in our bathroom as the floor tile for about a year and it's performing beautifully!A: No sealer, this is a terrazzo-look porcelain tile. You can opt to seal the grout joins, but porcelain by nature is considered "non porous". Sealer will only sit on the surface and not penetrate the body of the tile. -
Q: Is this tile waterproof as far as using it on a bathroom floor?
A: This tile is in my guest bathroom. It has a curbless shower. The tiles were laid whole on the bathroom floor and quartered for the shower floor. It's worked out beautifully!A: In terms of waterproof, its porcelain so very well-suited for bathroom floors and showers, and exceeds the 0.42 DCOF minimum for wet applications. (it has a rating of 0.45)
We used it for bathroom wall and floor and have had great luck, even while very wet.A: We used it on our bathroom floor and haven't had any issues at all. We used snow white grout and sealed it.A: We have it on our bathroom floor and haven't had any problems with it. Of course we sealed the grout. -
