Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Q: What is the tile depth, please?
A: The thickness of our Los Lunas White 4x12 Polished Ceramic Subway Wall Tile is approximately 9 mm. -
Q: Are the edges more brown or gray toned?
A: The edges are brown.A: They are closer to brown. The grout I used was called Mocha.A: I agree with Erica. They are brown, but warm and earthy. Perfect description! I could not be happier with this tile, and what it has done to pull my kitchen together!A: Definitely more brown. There are both subtle gray and earthy brown tones, but pulls way more warm brown than a cooler gray. -
Q: Are quarter-round shapes available?

Alternatively, you can line the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout. -
Q: Which grout would look best bright white or Snow White?
A: You probably don’t want it to look too white coz the tile has more beige/off white tones in it.A: I did a similar grout as Barbara F. I went for matching the edge coloring instead of white grout.A: I used a Chamois colored grout to match the edge coloring on the tile to make it look more "old world" and go better with the White Tiger granite counter top and Alabaster cabinetry.A: We used Tech White Buff (945) and think it looks great. Anything trying to be a true white will clash with the tile.A: I ordered Mobe pearl non sanded grout -
Q: Are these a bright white or cream color?
A: It's slightly muted but doesn't have any yellow/cream tones. White but not bright.A: It's more of a gray-ish white. Definitely not bright white. -

It's called Somerset Collection Somerset Oil-Rubbed Bronze Metal Pencil Liner Tile (1/2-in x 12-in)A: We’re taking it across the entire back wall so we didn’t need trim pieces. It’s so reasonable can you just take it further do you wouldn’t need trim pieces? It’s Gorgeous!A: We thought about schluter too. But instead, we found on a pencil tile for the perfect edging.A: I used a bronze schluter strip to match my hardware.A: We used Schluter system tile edges and match the color of them to the faucets and shower door. They have all kinds of colorsA: I used a satin nickle metal edging.A: We used the same thing. It worked out nicely with my polished chrome fixtures.A: We used a schluter edge. It worked for us because we have stainless appliances. -
Q: Suggested grout size?
A: I also elected to use a thin 3/32 space between the tile and chose a
chamois colored grout to match the color on the edges of the tile. I feel it gave it a more "old world" look to compliment my antique furnishings. I am very pleased with the results.A: I matched the grout to the tile and used 1/8” of grout in between. It looks amazing. Just what I wanted!A: We matched the grout to the edges too- used Mocha grout. We love the look and used a really thin grout gap too.A: To add to that - we matched the grout with the dark color on the edges of the tile - Prism grout, color EarthA: Because of the beautiful color on the edges of the tile we did not want a grout line to detract, so we dry stacked it. There are some irregularities that left a few gaps. So we did grout just to fill them in. Turned out beautiful, can’t even tell we used grout!

Fireplace tile
The tile is unique and looks beautiful when it's installed in the herringbone pattern. It has a wave to it and is shiny.
The one problem with this is the packaging when it was shipped. I ordered 5 boxes and 3 out of the 5 came broken. They are not packaged well for shipping which caused a delay for me as I had to wait for a replacement. -
