3. In order for us to continue to be able to offer affordable pricing, a 15% restocking fee is assessed on all returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer are responsible for return shipping charges and arrangements.

Q: How much variation is there in the tiles? If I order 5 samples of this will I get a sense of the variation?
A: Yes I believe that 5 tiles will be representative of the variation of the tiles. They are beautiful, we love them as a backsplash in our kitchen!A: Interior designer here! I used these on a project in 2021. Yes, there is variation among the tiles and ordering five samples is a smart idea. Q: Tell me more about finish, pls?
A: Hi! The finishes are matte and also satin. The satin finish appears pearlescent. The boxes have a mix of the finishes. With the handmade look of the tile no two tiles are exactly alike and the ratio of finishes may vary within. -
Q: Can i get 30 linear ft of Bullnose edge tile?
A: The bullnose is sold in 8” piecesA: Hi David! If you search Montauk Gin 2x8 White the tile and the bullnose will populate. Hope this helps! -
Q: I chose gin white and would like to use a bone grout to pull out the tannish color in my counter. Thoughts?
A: We used a darker grout in our shower (taupe grey I think) and were very happy with how it came out.A: its been a few years & i still L♡ve my choice, i wush i did a smidge darker grout but my cabinets are a med/dark knotty alder
The tile does not run grey,A: I would definitely order the sample of the grout before you decide. Gut instinct, I don’t think it will work. I think it will just draw your attention to the grout and grout will look yellowish and dingy.A: I love warming it up. Soft warms are all the rage. Great idea.A: That might work! Q: What color outlet covers look best with these tiles?
A: WhiteA: It's a little difficult to say which color outlet cover would go best. Our best recommendation is to take your sample to your local hardware store to do a side-by-side comparison. -
Q: I have a stainless steel backsplash behind my stove and am using this tile as a backsplash on each side of the range (as well as the other walls). What size Schluter or trim would you recommend?
A: When we purchased, it was for a shower. They did not make it in a “pencil” so we ordered square footage of the beveled tile and worked with that to get a finished edge. we love this tile color and are getting ready to order and use it in our new home kitchen backsplash. We will order some beveled pieces to fish the edge. I hope this helps. -
Q: I want to use black grout with this. Would that work? Anyone use something other then a white variation?
A: Black grout might be really interesting depending on the application. The tile surface is shiny like mother of pearl so I wouldn't use sanded grout or a wide grout line which in my opinion would look too casual for the tile. -
Q: Is this tile easy to clean? I'm wondering how practical the texture is for a kitchen backsplash.
A: Yes, it has a glass finish so it wipes off pretty easy. Just be sure to choose a grout that won’t show stains over time.A: Yes, it is very easy. I’ve splattered many red sauces on it over the years, and it wipes easily. As with all tile, the grout is the hardest part to clean. But these tiles are easy!A: Very easy to keep clean. Tile has a wonderful finish so easy to wipe. The tile is natural so not flat. Great depth to each tile. -
Q: Are there no matching pencil moldings for transitioning?
A: We do not have a matching pencil liner for this collection. You can always try any of our metal trims!A: There is a bullnose. There isn’t a pencil. We used schluter in the same finish as the plumbing fixtures to trim it.A: No there are not. I used Schlutter trim.A: There are matching bullnosed tiles for the ends. Better installed than looking individually
When my husband pulled the tiles out of the box, he was not happy because of how glittery they looked, however once installed they are perfect. The shine on each one changes depending on the light and it gives a nice elegant upgrade to subway tile look. You can tell these are well made and handcrafted. When the lights are off you can't see the shine and it gives it a muted look . They are so perfect!
