When installing natural stone and marble tile, make sure all your products, substrate, tile, thinset and grout are compatible with each other. Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

- Blending different boxes of tile is recommended before and during installation.

Stone Products
As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.

Q: Hi. What material are the stones added to in order to make the tile? Is it cement or a resin? Thanks!
A: We love the look and feel of these stones and they are holding up nicely. They come in sections joined together with a netting backer. They are easy to customize to the shape you need. Our installer just used regular thin set to place them and then grout as usual.A: These are natural stone pebbles that get grouted to appear as in the photo. No cement or Resin is added. -
Q: can you use this in a pool as a waterline tile?
A: This can go in a pool.A: We have it as the floor of a shower with no problems after 4 months so it would probably work in a pool. We didn't go for the terrazzo look - we used a minimum amount of grout so there is more exposure of the rocks than the photo online show. I recommend a glossy sealer to bring out all the colors.
