Q: Is the Drama Bearch Matte 24x24 tile the slip resistant? Does it have some grip on surface or it is perhaps too smooth for 70 years old to use it near the shower and in a whole bathroom floor. What is the DCOF number. Please be honest, so I don't break my bones. Also, why is it on sale, is it not as good as compare to other tile? I take the sale price, if it is realy good quality, it is stain resistant, and most important-wth some traction, so no slipping when water is on.
A: I’m a designer and we put it on my client’s primary bath floor. She says it is not slippery. It’s very dramatic and makes a statement.A: Hi Lidia. I have this tile on my whole bathroom floor including shower and main shower wall. My floors are heated which o appreciate in cold winter temps. When I first switched (from tub surround) I did notice the surface was somewhat slippery- particularly when soapy. I was advised to not use a non slip mat because of the heating elements. I’m 65 and don’t yet have grab bars (o did have contractors prep the walls for them!) so I just careful and have gotten use to the surface with no negative side affects. The tile is stunning and everyone who sees it remarks positively on it. I would recommend with two thumbs up!A: I have it in my bathroom floor where my toddler splashes water everywhere. I haven’t had any issues with slipping but that doesn’t mean it’s slip resistant. Also keep in mind it’s a white tile that can get dirty in high traffic areas. It looks great once installed. Also I suggest to think about the color of grout you would use because there aren’t many options that match well. Hope this helps, Good luck!A: Please reach out to us at [email protected], and we'll be glad to verify this information for you.
