Elemental Abrasive Gray 6x6 Ceramic Quarry Tile
We recently installed the Elemental Abrasive Gray 6x6 Ceramic Quarry Tiles in our kitchen and couldn't be more pleased with the result! This tile combines both style and functionality in the best way possible. Here's why we love it:
Durability and Quality
The abrasive gray finish gives this tile not only a modern and sleek look but also an incredibly durable surface. It's strong and tough, ideal for high-traffic areas where durability is key. After several months of use, the tiles have shown no signs of wear or damage.
Slip-Resistance
The abrasive finish provides excellent slip resistance, which has been a huge plus in our kitchen. I feel comfortable cooking and cleaning without worrying about slipping, especially when there's water or oil around. This feature makes it perfect for any wet environment like bathrooms or entryways as well.
Aesthetic Appeal
The gray color is neutral and versatile, effortlessly complementing various design schemes. It pairs beautifully with both modern and traditional décor, offering a subtle yet stylish foundation to the space. Whether you're aiming for a contemporary kitchen or a rustic look, the gray tone fits perfectly.
Ease of Maintenance
Ceramic quarry tiles are known for being easy to clean, and this one is no exception. The textured surface does require regular cleaning, but it's manageable and doesn't trap grime like some other finishes. We use a standard mop and some mild detergent, and the tiles look as good as new every time.
Installation
While the abrasive surface made cutting a bit more challenging, the tiles were fairly straightforward to install. We hired a professional installer, and the results were perfect. Just be sure to use the right tools if you plan on doing it yourself!
Overall Impressions
The Elemental Abrasive Gray 6x6 Ceramic Quarry Tile is a top-notch product that delivers on both form and function. It's incredibly sturdy, looks fantastic, and provides extra safety with its slip-resistant surface. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish and practical tile solution for both residential and commercial spaces. -

★★★☆☆
More brown than red
It's a well made tile at a very good price. It's not as red as the picture renders on my monitors or phone and much more of a brown. The color is also very homogenous and flat, lacking any depth. Rather industrial looking, to me. While it's not what I was hoping for, it does appear to be an exceptionally well made ceramic quarry tile. I had a lab, once upon a time and I think it would have worked well in that application.
