Larger orders and delicate material, including most orders of porcelain tiles, may need to be shipped via freight carriers. The freight company may contact you to set up a delivery appointment. These orders will normally include curbside delivery only.

1. You must request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form by emailing [email protected].
2. Samples, clearance, FINAL SALE items, and custom orders are non-refundable.
3. In order for us to continue to be able to offer affordable pricing, a 15% restocking fee is assessed on all returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer are responsible for return shipping charges and arrangements.
4. All returns must be in their original packaging and in the condition in which they were received.

Crafted from authentic terracotta in a deep charcoal black, the Opera Terracotta by Paula Purroy Volcano 6x6 Square Matte and Iridescent Terracotta Tile was designed by TileBar collaborator Paula Purroy. Its 6x6-inch square shape features a unique finish mix: the rustic look of oxidized matte paired with the iridescent radiance of glossy pearl—a luster-finishing technique that originated in ancient Mesopotamia, was perfected in Renaissance Italy, and then slowly disappeared—until now. Sealing prior to installation is required.Authentic terracotta

ARTISANAL IN EVERY DETAIL
Handcrafted by Umbrian artisans in a multi-step process, the Opera Terracotta collection is a mélange of rich texture, bold pigmentation, and rare finishes. The finest terracotta clay is selected and shaped using handmade wooden molds, then left to air dry for twenty days. Once dry, each piece is hand-finished—whether oxidized or embellished with an ancient luster-finishing technique—and then baked in a wood-burning kiln for an additional ten days, resulting in unparalleled texture and coloring. -

Barcelona-born artist, architect, and global traveler, Paula Purroy is inspired by nature in all its variety. She has translated that inspiration into art forms ranging from sculpture to painting to dancing. The Opera collection’s distinctive mix of shapes and finishes is guided by the principles of “Spanish Revival”—a blend of Spanish Colonial and Moorish design elements—revealing Purroy’s old soul.
