Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Stone Products
As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.

Q: I painted my kitchen a sage green. These tiles match perfectly with my countertops and cabinets however.....would a sage green grout be crazy to use?
A: I would stay with a lighter, neutral grout. You don't want to take away from the beautiful flower pattern in the tile.A: I would probably stick with a light grout color compatible with the tile colors.A: There is a lot of grout space in the tile because of the design. Q: I got a sample of the wooden beige but I only see the dark brown flower. What color is the other flower?
A: There are three colors.
Grey/Pewter
Light Brown
Bronze

Q: What color ceramic subway tile or small pattern would go well with this besides gray?
A: creamy white. This tile is just beautifulA: The darker flowers are a warm chocolate brown color. My cabinets are a dark brown stain, which highlights that flower. Q: Thank you David. One more question. Do Thank you David. Also, do you only seal the marble pedals but not the glass pedals? If so, what is the easiest way to do that? With a sponge type brush?
A: The glass tiles do not require sealing. In terms of technique, I definitely recommend touching base with your installer. -
Q: IS it necessary/recommended to seal the marble tiles after it is installed and grouted?
A: We suggest sealing this material as it is a natural stone.A: Absolutely. In fact, it's recommended to seal the marble before you grout, otherwise you could stain it. If you use thinset to adhere the tile, use white instead of grey. Marble is very soft for a stone, and very porous, so be careful not to scratch it (no sanded grout), too.A: Usually the marble tile is sealed before the grout is applied. -
Q: can this be used on a shower wall?
A: Yes! This tile can be used on a shower wall. -
Q: Wildflower Pale Oak tile ok for floor installation? This item states it’s ok for residential floor use but it has glass tile along with marble. Won’t the glass scratch and get hazy over use?
A: This tile is not recommended for floor use due to the glass. The marble Wildflower tiles, can be used on the floor in a residential setting. -
Q: Can you please recommend a subway tile (ceramic or glass) that would go with this for behind the range? the marble mosaic seems a little too busy looking for something bigger.
A: We did exactly what you are suggesting behind our range. We used an oversized light grey subway (ceramic) as the field tile, and a dark grey marble border tile around the flower insert (we have pictures, but couldn't figure out how to attach them). The problem was the grout. Recommended was a sanded grout, but, that scratches glass tile (we tested it), and some of the spaces are too large for unsanded, so we had to find a blended single component grout that would work, but you still had to be very careful not to scratch anything. We had to grout twice, since the first application shrunk. We used a greyish colored grout so the light petals would show up better than with the antique white. It really looks good and was worth the effort.A: I used this tile in my kitchen. I chose one that had some POP because my other choices, white cabinets, white/beige counter were neutral. I've had so many compliments with it. It's different and fun. -
Q: Does the Sheet Size of 17" x 13.25" come with four corners or only as shown in the pictures as flower petals as the outer edges? I am worried I will not be able to fit it in with the rest of my tile choices. Thank you for your help.
A: It is only as shown in the picture that shows the four flowers.A: There are no corners, but the tile has an arrow to show the direction to fit the tiles. If you use the arrows, it's pretty easy to fit them together. Be sure to order extra, and use a good tile saw. Additionally, some of the edges of the petals are rough, so I used some fine sand paper to smooth them. I hope this helps. -
Q: Could this tile be used as a backsplash behind a range? Would it be prone to staining since it is made of marble?
A: That is exactly where I am planning to use it. It is a combination of natural stone (marble) and glass. As long as you periodically seal/maintain your natural stone tiles it should be fine. It is a BEAUTIFUL tile :) Good luck!A: This tile is perfectly suitable for a backsplash. It must be sealed as well cleaned and maintained regularly. For normal care and maintenance of stone tiles, clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap, or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean soft cloth for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar, or other acids on marble or limestone. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
