Q: Is this ok for shower walls? Will the paint fade in water?
A: I did this in my shower about 6 yrs ago all seems to be holding up well no fading.A: This tile is great for a shower wall.A: I've been using this tile as a kitchen backsplash behind the stove and it has held up very well to frequently scrubbing and cleaners. It's been in my kitchen for close to 5 years and it still looks brand new. It's beautiful!A: Won’t fade. We had it outside though and changes in temperature and humidity were not kind to the tiles and several had parts of the face fall off. These are terracotta tiles, or seem to be, so just be aware of that.A: I believe it’s fine to use in shower the colors will not fade suggest the shiny glazed version -
Q: The grout looks beige and not white. What should I order?
A: We suggest the Laticrete Permacolor Bright White Grout. -
Q: Has anyone installed this as a floor with radiant heating? I would like to put it in my sunroom.
A: This tile is not suitable for floor installation.A: No, the manufacturer recommends for walls only. It is very polished and slick. We used it in a shower and tub surround. -
Q: I’m thinking of this tile for an outdoor wall location. I live in Southern CA, so would this tile hold up? We do not get freezing weather. We very occasionally get nights in the 30’s.
A: This material is not suitable for outdoor use. -
Q: Would like to purchase this with a corresponding solid white. Which Angela Harris white matches best?
A: Blanco. I used it. I love it But it's not solid white, there is brown on the edges. And it is not bright white. It is the same tile without all the plant pictures.A: We used reg. White it looks greatA: The lighter white tile matches perfectly. I did my backsplash with the print and white. It’s beautiful!

Q: The description says it is for walls only, and I understand it wouldn’t be durable enough on a floor, where it would be walked upon. But would it be durable enough for a countertop? I’d like to use it on an outdoor barbecue island countertop Thanks.
A: This material is not suggested for countertop installation. -
Q: Can someone tell me the difference between this Sonata Decor tile and the Sonata Mural? It looks like I can buy both of them by the square foot.
A: You definitely need to buy the mural boxes to make sure you have all pieces to complete mural. I bought 3 boxes to wrap around my small showerA: The mural is a complete 6x6 tile design, with 1 of each tile design. The Sonata Decor tile is just a box of random tiles from the mural. I think those boxes only contain 24 Tiles.A: If you want to do the mural you need to buy that because the other boxes do NOT have all the pieces to complete the picture/mural. I know this for sure because I bought multiple boxes of both. I’m doing mural in my shower and then scattered sonata decor around bathtub. You might get lucky by buying more than one box of decor that have tile pieces to complete one mural but I didn’t want to take that chanceA: The mural is just that; a 4 foot by 4 foot picture. The other tiles are random and cannot be formed into the picture.A: The Mural has a set amount of tile and you are guaranteed the entire picture. You could buy the regular sonata tiles and hope that you have one of each of the tiles to create the pattern but you are sent a random assortment.

Love Sonata!
This is stunning tile. We made a big impact with a small amount. My only small issue is that the "Blanco" tile is not as white as in the Sonata tiles, but it looks great. It works perfectly with my eclectic style, being an artist.
