Q: Can this be used on a wood burning fireplace?
A: I think so, it's very durable tile and could be used for exterior as well as interior spaces. I used it for our cook top / stove back splash and no issues after 18 months of daily use.A: Are used it as a backsplash in my kitchen. However, I made a porcelain tile hearth stone for my wood-burning fireplace using 3/8 plywood wrapped NL bar metal and filled with small ceramic tiles..The heart does not get hotSo the tiles are fine. -
Q: Is the middle of this tile black or brown?
A: It is blackA: The specifications say black, I have this tile in my bathroom, so bright, but not harsh light, and it's a very soft black, washed or faded in places (you can see in the picture). Honestly, it could be described as either very dark brown or soft black. It is pretty and gets compliments.A: It’s a really, really dark brown.A: It's a dark brownish-black. Not black, but not brown. Home Depot has a color called off-broadway - which is a very dark brown. This color resembles that.A: It is blackA: Black. But a mild chalky blackA: It is blackA: The color is not brown but also not a pure black because of the texture but definitely not brown. I would order a sample to make sure.A: Chocolate brown -
Q: Would this tile be suitable for a doorless bathroom i.e. floor that extends onto the shower floor? I'm worried about it possibly being slippery.
A: It would appear that it may become slippery when wet. I personally used it as a backsplash on part of my kitchen wall.Enter an answer to this question.A: I think it should work. It’s not a super smooth shiny finish. It has more of a handmade look and feel. It reminds me of the look of chalk paint if you are family with that. It’s very pretty. -
Q: Is there an edge piece for this?
A: We don't have a corresponding trim piece for this collection at this time. You can try adding a contrasting color from another collection. Browse all of our trim pieces and metal edging strips on our website. Alternatively, you can line the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: No. Try Schluter strip to finish the edge for wall applicationA: We used this tile on the floor of a small sun porch. It looks great. I don't know if there is an edge piece as we did not use one. When searching this tile on line I did not see an edge piece.

Affordable, functional, and bridges vintage to modern
An affordable, graphic tile that works for our vintage/transitional kitchen. Tons of compliments. We chose other colors for appliances and materials based on this tile.

Bella Bella
The tile is now my kitchen and adjoining dining room tile, and brings back memories of my youth in Spain. It's high quality, and the design is gorgeous and versatile in different places. My only suggestion: the boxes it shipped in fell apart upon arrival, so I had to hand-carry the 1200 pounds up the stairs!

Nice for oldstyle look
This is not a rectified tile, so don't use very small groutlines. Tile appears worn, off-white and off-black. Old-school look.
