Q: Is there yellow in this tile? Looking to buy a Big Chill retro yellow refrigerator and want to know if it will coordinate.
A: Yes, there is yellow in the tile. It is a light muted lemon. I have the tile in my entry and love it. I think it would go with about any color yellow in other parts of your kitchen. Check out ordering a sample to make sure!A: No yellow in the tile, but I think it could still go well with your Big Hill yellow retro refrigerator.A: Yes, there is a soft yellow star around each of the small blue starts and two soft yellow "arrows" in the cross between the large stars. Request a sample tile!A: It’s a very sort of pale yellow. We actually have on our backsplash and have bright yellow walls. If you’re doing in the floor it will look fab with the fridge. Def order a sample. We love it! -
Q: Using tile on kitchen walls and will need to end mid-wall. How do you trim out, i.e., what do you put at the end of the tile to transition between tile and wall? Thank you
A: We just used a metal rail. Barely noticeable. I have no idea what the official name of it is, but our tile guy got it in the tile aside. We couldn’t find anything that looked decent otherwise. Makes it clean and modern.A: We currently don't have a corresponding trim piece for this collection. You can try adding a contrasting color from another collection. Alternatively, you can line the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: The tile and edge look so good that I just used a small bead of caulking. -
Q: Is this tile rated for heat exposure? Wanting to use as a fireplace tile
A: This material can be installed as a fireplace surround, however it can not be installed within the hearth. -
Q: can this be installed in an outdoor patio? is it glossy or matte? does it get slippery when wet?
A: Hi there, this tile has a matte finish and is perfectly fine to use outdoors. This will not get slippery when wet. You may reference additional specifications on this tile under the Specs tab.
