Q: My contractor is nervous about using this inside a shower pan. He is worried the mosaic is too tight and the grout will not properly get down into the cracks. Is this suitable for inside a shower?
A: The marble is mounted very tight.
Also it is very soft and pouris it will etch from the acids in the soap
And shampoo a porcelain tile would be the ultimate flooring in a shower floor.A: The mosaic has very small gaps for grout. I absolutely love the look, but I wouldn’t use it in a shower.A: We used this tile on our bathroom floor, tub wall, and shower floor. It turned out beautiful! I would recommend using an epoxy grout or un-sanded cement based grout for the fine grout joints in this tile.A: Please reach out to us at [email protected], and we'll be glad to verify this information for you. -
Q: Can this tile be used in the floor?
A: Yes, our Microsaic Plaid Bardiglio Black & White Polished Marble Mosaic Tile is suitable for floor use.A: Yes, we used this in a client's vacation home guest bath, including in the shower. No problems that I know of.A: Yes, we used it on a bathroom floor, not in the shower.A: It’s a marble so yes, you should seal it.
