Q: How do you tile around outlets?
A: Remove outlet cover and tile around roughed box. I used black outlet cover because it worked with all black accents in rest of kitchen designA: I bought mirrored. Outlet cover😍 -
Q: what is the size of the sample?
A: The tile was 3x6. I love my wall!!!!A: My sample was a 3x6 tileA: My sample was a 3x6 tile. -
Q: Does it have an adhesive? Like a peel and stick?
A: No it does not ! You have to install with thin set .A: No, it’s a smooth back.A: No, it’s actual glass and we used Thinset. We also had to guy a glass cutter for our saw. It turned out beautifully and if I ever moved I would buy it all over again! It’s everyone favorite part of my home!A: No, it uses Grout , I used a light gray and it is beautiful!A: These tiles do not have an adhesive side. We installed as a kitchen backsplash a couple of years ago and they have held up beautifully.A: No adhesive. I ended up using a clear liquid nails product on my backsplash. Easy. Worked great but it’s in an office area, not a kitchen.A: Hi no you have to use a tile mortar set, thxA: Hi. No, this is a heavy, substantial tile which requires an adhesive but no grout. It is so beautiful and helped in transforming my kitchen. This is not a cheap, thin mirror pretending to be a tile. This is a tile.A: NoA: No, you have to purchase some type of mortar. They recommend a very nice one, and it looks great in between my tiles! -
Q: Are these tiles ok to use as a back splash behind a range/stove?
A: I used them on a wall in a bathroom and they work great.A: That is where I use mine. Beautiful. Easy to clean. Great choice. -
Q: If I get this tile- what would be the best application to adhere such to an untreated brick wall? Thanks
A: I would think you would need a smooth, even surface for tiling. We used a loctite brand adhesive that's just for mirrors on top of sheet rock...once it stuck you had very little time to remove it. These tiles do chip easy as with any glass and mirror. Also, keep in mind, if the back of a mirror scratches you'll see it on the other side.A: Dear Phoenix,
I am not a professional tiler. I would ask a professional. We had this tile professionally installed.A: Mirror should be installed with CRL Gunther Extra/Build Mirror Mastic or equivalent. Do not use solvent glues, generic adhesives or construction adhesives. CUTTING Cutting mirror should be done using a score and snap tile cutter with an an appropriate wheel. You may also use a glass cutter and straight edge to score and snap the tile. For further information, we recommend speaking with your contractor/installer for specific applications. -
Q: How do these last behind a sink ?
A: I don't have them behind a sink but have them behind my range. Tge range produces heat and moisture and in 10 months after install they still are gorgeousA: If the water is not going to be splashing too much, it will be fine. I love the tile. It is already "antiqued" so it looks great and vintage.A: I put the ones i bought in the shower so far so goodA: We have had them behind our sink for a almost 3 years and they still look brand new! This is my most favorite piece in my entire house!A: I have them in my hutch but I bet they would look
Amazing behind a sink!A: I installed our tile on a wall in a bathroom. It doesn't have water splashing on it, but it is holding up great with the steam from the shower.A: I have a garden window behind my sink and these mirrored tiles elsewhere...like behind my 6 burner gas cooktop. They clean up easily, having tried many different methods I find a dry rag works best. Good luckA: Hi. I've had no issues behind the sink or the stove. Looks amazing. Just like any glass tile.A: Beautifully. They are very substantial and clean up with a little Windex. -
Q: Can this be set using Mastic?
A: No. You should use a white thin set mortarA: Yes. Mastic is what I used. Didn't use grout either - the dimensions are a true 3" x 6".A: I am not a professional tiler. We had a professional install it, so I can not with full confidence answer you. Best to ask a professionalA: Mirror should be installed with CRL Gunther Extra/Build Mirror Mastic or equivalent.A: YesA: Yes but do not grout. We made that mistake and it doesn't look very good. We did use mastic to apply -
Q: To do a herringbone pattern, what is the recommended overage amount?
A: We always recommend that one should order 10-15% overage. That said, one should always speak with their contractor/installer before ordering. -
Q: How hard is it to clean?
A: Not difficult at all a little glass cleaner and a soft rag. Beautiful tile!!!A: No problem at all. I installed mine as the backsplash in a butlers pantry. I cleaned it with windex after install and dust it regularly. LOVE IT!A: The beveled mirror tiles are easy to clean they are like small mirrors so clean them with glass cleaner. They look great!A: Like cleaning any other mirror in your house. I just use a damp paper towel. If you have grease, use some light soap then wipe with a damp towel.A: Unfortunately my installer was unable to cut a straight edge on the glass tile so I did not use it.A: Not hard at all! Simple windex does the job.A: Cleans just like a normal mirror. It may take a little more time to get the beveled edges but not a big deal.A: You clean it just like a regular mirror with wonder if you choose. But I just use a regular lint free cloth to get off the smudge marks. If you use this tile on a backsplash remember to use mirrored switch plates.A: Not hard at all, I wipe down with glass cleaner.A: Hello,
I purchased this tile for my kitchen 2 years ago. It is SUPER EASY TO CLEAN, just a bit of windex and a paper towel and voila!A: So easy. I just use Windex. Just like cleaning a mirror. I couldn't be more happy with this tile in my kitchen.A: Windex works fine. It really doesn't show water spots. I would just make to have your countertop come up as part of the backsplash.A: Easy! Just like cleaning a mirror.A: Not hard at all! Clean just as you would any glass - we installed as our kitchen backsplash and I wipe water spots up with a sponge and windex as needed. Have had installed nearly two years and looks same as the day of install.A: Easy to clean. Used it as a backsplash in closet area. -
Q: i am confused. each little piece of rectangle tile is 3x6? it doesnt look that big
A: They are three inches by six inches. I used them for my kitchen backsplash and are gorgeousA: The tile is 3x6A: Yes it is!A: YesA: Yes, each piece is 3x6A: Yes, they are each 3x6.A: Exactly that size. Amazingly beautiful!

Beyond basic
Makes our coffee bar look special, upscale and waay beyond basic. It's antiqued enough that its NOT just a reflective mirror, while also captivating interest in the things it does reflect.

Obsessive
I am obsessed with this tile. I used it as the backsplash in my kitchen & it just added so much light & makes everything look larger plus it is just so glamorous. It is my favorite part of my new kitchen. I could not be happier. I did order the clear apoxy/grout that was recommended but did not end up using that. We went with a very light grey grout to give it a more finished look. My tile guy, with yrs of experience, said it was very difficult to work with when cutting the tile. The light grey grout gave the edges a more finished look.
I would absolutely recommend this tile but it is NOT a do it yourself kinda install! -

Perfection
This tile is perfection. We are still installing at this moment. Out of the 4 boxes we have opened so far we only have 2 chipped tiles.. and to be honest it wasn't from lack of effort. The packing was crazy good, likely the tiles were chipped before they were in the box. Highly recommend! Cutting the tiles does take some finesse and practice, otherwise the install has been smooth. I will post pics once it is fully installed.

I love this tile but you do have to map it out very accurately and use glass tile grout.
