Q: That style wouldn't happen to come in hight quality pressons?
A: No. This requires typical application and grout. But it's very beautiful and my husband installed himself without issue.A: I don’t know what “high quality pressons”means that’s a manufacturing question not something for a homeowner. I purchased them in 2021 and have installed in a bathroomA: Please reach out to us at [email protected], and we'll be glad to verify this information for you. -
Q: How hard is this to clean in a kitchen setting (we are a family of 6)?
A: We LOVE this tile and it’s SO easy to clean with a cloth and cleaning spray! We have get in our kitchen, and in our bar area and have had it for 4 years nowA: Very easy to clean since the surface is relatively smooth. Our installer did not use grout as well so clean with dish soap or a disinfectant product. Very durable and pretty!
Highly recommended!A: Just dish detergent, I have not had to clean it, my installer put it in without the grout, I just love it !A: It is so easy to clean, although I don’t have mine in the kitchen. It’s beautiful and holding up nicely! -
Q: Can this tile be used for a covered outside kitchen?
A: This material is not suggested or outdoor installation. -
Q: Can this tile be used for a bathroom floor?? Says wall only but cannot understand why!?!?!
A: I have this tile in my shower walls. I am not. Certain of the reason the manufacturer would say wall only but it could be because of the uneven nature of each individual tile.A: Hi, I originally got it for the floor but I was told it was not thick enough to work on the floor - it needs to be thicker for a floor application. Hope this helps.A: I have these on my bathroom wall and am very happy. However, I agree that they wouldn't be good on a floor. The tiles are NOT FLAT. They are manufactured with a "hand made" effect where the edges curve up and have a lip of sorts. I would definately not want this on my floor. Very hard to sweep, and catch things on the edges and corners.A: I have this as a backsplash however I wouldn’t put it on the floor it’s not the appropriate thickness and probably wouldn’t hold up -
Q: What would be the best way to install this in a narrow area between a window opening and the end of a cabinet, to completely frame a kitchen over-the-sink type window? There is not enough space to stagger them, it's only about 3-4" wide on both sides of the window. No window casing, just sheetrock.
A: I have the same problem, I am leaving it up to the specialist that does the job. I have the tile but not installed due to illness.A: I cut a piece of marble for the inside of the window all 4 sides on mine and brought the tile to be flush with it. Marble saddle can be purchased from a good tile store then they need to be ripped down to size..In my case 5 3/8 wide by 48". In such a tight area I would just cut to size and maybe cut two 2" peices every other row and stagger the rows so there are no cuts on the same row on both sides. Every 3rd one or so would be fine -
Q: Can you recommend some options for border tile?
A: We don't happen to make a trim piece for this collection at this time. You can try adding a similar or contrasting color from another collection. Browse all of our trim pieces here: https://tilebar.com/collection/trim-pieces.html
Alternatively, there are a couple other techniques for edging the tile. Two common options are edging the tile with a metal edging strip (like a Schluter strip) or by lining the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: We chose a white Quartz .47" X 12" pencil trim by Ellis + Fisher to match our white quartz/Carrera marble counter tops. We used it to trim around the beautiful 3" x 12" ceramic tiles. We have a lake/seaside home theme and these two finishing touches work great together.A: You don’t need border tile with this as it is a subway tile style. -
Q: does this tile come in different colors?
A: Yes, the Bayou collection comes in 5 colors at this time. -
Q: Can this be used for shower wall?
A: This material is suitable for shower wall installation.A: Absolutely!!!!A: Yes

Happy!
It looks a bit more tan in person than on the website but I'm still happy with the rustic look it creates.

Loved the texture of these tiles. More a flat feel and color and softens the countertop shine.

Gorgeous tile!
This tile is so rich in color and beautifully organic in shape. The guest bathroom was remodeled after removing the house's original sink and vanity (1984). Looking for other projects to use this tile it!

Beautiful tile. We are using this in an outdoor shower and it will be perfect. I would recommend if you want a great white subway tile with a little movement in the clay.

Tile is fine, ordered twice from tile bar and once shipping was quick, the other time it was sent by mule and took 4 weeks?

Lovely tile, but lots of hidden breakage
This tile is quite lovely, and there are a lot of different patterns, and I'm looking forward to the finished project. Unfortunately, we did not unbox everything right away, as we weren't ready for installation but set it carefully aside. We noted one broken tile on the top of one box, but that was it. When I was ready to start installation, I unboxed and laid out the all the tiles, grouped by pattern. I ended up with the equivalent of one entire box of broken tiles, plus maybe 3 additional broken tiles. Although the shipment was well-packed with foam padding, and the shipping carton was undamaged, I suspect that the breakage occurred prior to shipment. I'm chalking this up to experience, as it is now too late to get a credit for the breakage (it is long past the 5-day window). While I will be able to use some of the broken pieces for smaller areas, it's just frustrating to find that more than 10% of the order is already broken, and I may have to order one more box to finish the project. My advice - immediately unbox all tiles you receive, even if you are not ready to use them, and check each tile for damage.
