What is Nanoglass Tile?
Nanoglass tile is a crystalized glass surface that is as durable as granite but also stainproof, making it incredibly easy to maintain. Its strength comes from the manufacturing process of sintering. Powdered materials such as silica, marble, and other natural materials are compressed and heated for an extended period of time, fusing together to form an incredibly strong and impermeable crystalline surface. Q: Can the 10 inch hexagon be used on the shower floor?
A: This product should only be used on a shower wall.A: I would not recommend it. It’s a polished finish, so would be slippery. It’s a beautiful tile though. I used it on the bathroom wall from ceiling to countertop. -
Q: I see there is a 2”x2” option. Is this a hexagon design? Does anyone know and how do you order that size? I don’t see a way to order the 2”x2”

Q: what size grout joint is pictured in the sample images above?
A: 1/16th" groutline. -
Q: How slip resistant is the tile?
A: Though it's a polished tile, it's safe enough for floors due to there being enough grout lines that generate requisite friction to allow being able to walk on it safely. That said, I would recommend ordering a sample and getting a feel for the tile to verify. -
Q: Is this tile a bright white or more of an off-white?
A: Bright whiteA: It's more of a bright white. That said, I suggest getting a sample and seeing it for yourself in the environment you plan to set it. The lighting and atmosphere can determine just how "bright" it really is. -
Q: can this be used on the floor of a bathroom?
A: Indeed. This can go perfectly on a bathroom floor!

Beautiful, but difficult.
This is a great looking tile. It has a glossy sheen and reflects light. Super easy to clean and very durable. I've used a few times in a bathroom remodels. However, I would not use unless you are taking it up the entire wall and wall to wall. This tile does not come with any trim pieces. AND it has a unique depth which makes it incompatible with Schluter metal trims. And it's difficult to match because it's glass. It has a Thassos marble look so I needed up using marble trims that match closely, but not exactly.

Unwanted Reflection
I loved the stark whiteness of this tile in the photos and in the sample I got. I used the Nanoglass tiles in the shower and put a border of small glass turquoise tiles around the top. Evidently the Nano tiles are reflecting the turquoise as they now all have a dingy blue look. Not the look I wanted. The tub is not reflecting the turquoise, just the tiles. I was most disappointed.
