When installing natural stone and marble tile, make sure all your products, substrate, tile, thinset and grout are compatible with each other. Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

- Blending different boxes of tile is recommended before and during installation.

Stone Products
As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.

Q: If using the Arya as an accent in the shower, what shape or format of tile would look best for shower floor?  Installing 12 x 24 thassos on  shower walls. Help!  Thank you!!

Q: If I wanted to install this as an accent with another tile 1/3 of an inch thinner, what recommendations would you have?
A: Use a chair rail or bullnose piece, or some type of trim to make the transitionA: I installed it as an accent above my cooktop. It is surrounded by pencil and crown molding and then travertine tile in the backsplash. The difference in thickness does not matter when you have a border.A: This is an installer question, but assuming you have perfectly straight and plumb walls, you can either have more mud, buildout the the tile, or just add some backing, like 1/4 inch ply.A: That’s very achievable if you have an excellent tiler who is willing to put in more work when applying thin set and then level the tiles. BTW, I used this mosaic tile in kitchen as the backsplash and in my daughter’s shower. Both look so nice and beautiful. I have received lots of compliments on them. Thank you and good luck.A: Hello,
If it is being applied on a wall the only way to transition between different heights would be with a pencil edge in between both types of tile or some type of raised border tile. If it is on the floor, the surrounding flooring which is lower may have to have 1/4" sub floor added underneath and then your tile installer can float the rest to meet the height. Hope this helps. Q: What natural stone do you recommend that complements the Arya (steam shower and around the Arya on floor ?
A: White marble like carrera, or a pure white.

Q: Does anyone know if a border tile is available...ie something in a 1x6 or 1x12 with the pearl accent?
A: I used Adair as a backsplash that was 6 inches. And I used it in the niche in the shower. It was beautiful.A: I used this tile with a white subway. It will probably make your tile person sad because to get this tile correct, you have to puzzle it together before laying it. It comes in an odd shape that is pieced together so you will need extra, as it will most likely need to be cut to get a clean edge.A: I'm afraid there is no border tile made for this product. If the edges must be trimmed, I would recommend using a white thassos trim piece. -
Q: Can it be used as tile for my bathroom? My shower is adjacent to the bathroom
A: This tile can be used in bathrooms, but is natural stone and must be sealed. -
Q: Can this be used in a shower?
A: I would think so. It is absolutely beautiful!!!A: This product can only be used in regular showers. It cannot be used on shower floors or steam showers. -

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. We used this as our backsplashe. Our countertops are a Calicutta Gold marble so we paired this tile as the backsplash. I would not recommend this tile as a countertop because of the pattern of the mosiac and the grout lines. If you use this as tops, I would pair it with a white thassos or white subway tile. I hope this helps -
